Aurum is the currency of Virtuverse.
The term was coined (no pun intended) via an open vote contest held in the first half of September, 2019. The finalists were "Shards" and "Prisms" both suggested by the player Void.
The event results were published on Wednesday, September 18th with the victory by player KhiRocker thus making Aurum the official currency.
