Patch Notes 0.4.1
Early Access 2 patch notes released October 11th 2019
Features:
- Added Event Timers and global broadcast messages for ingame events and notifications
- Added PDA's
- Improved enemy threat system
- Improved the ore spread and variety in the overworld
- Added a new enemy type
- Added mechanism for interior spawn points
Environment, visual, sound and items:
- Added a new zone to the overworld
- Improved ambient sound effects
- Added approximately 30 new resources, 12 new equipment and 20 new recipes to the game
- Fixed issues with physics simulations which caused players to swim somewhat underwater
- Changed water material
- Fixed a number of issues with the overland terrain
Netcode:
- Overhauled the navigation system which was taxing the server a little too much
Bug Fixes:
- Fixed an issue that caused players to not be able to re spawn when dead properly
- Mining equipment now appropriately uses ammunition
- Fixed an issue which was causing enemy loot tables to not consider all available items
- Fixed a long-term issue where different maturities of enemies wouldn't be dealing the right damage and fixed the mechanics of spawning to not have replication issues on client machines
- You can no longer move while emoting
- Fixed some incorrect missive id's
- Players should no longer be able to dodge while falling
QOL:
- Stopped players from being able to fall off the edge of the map, aggressively
- Full Vendor UI redesign
- Autorun (Q)
- Increased looting range
